1. About Us

Crew Haus is a boutique staffing agency offering casual and permanent placements across the hospitality, retail, and events sectors in Sydney, Australia.

We match businesses with reliable, handpicked talent and offer flexible work opportunities to our growing crew community.

2. Definitions

  • Client – Any business that engages Crew Haus to provide staffing services.

  • Crew – A candidate who signs up and is approved to work shifts or take on placements through Crew Haus.

  • Placement – A shift, assignment, or role a crew member is booked for.

3. Services

We offer:

  • Temporary and permanent staff placements

  • Same-day shift coverage

  • Ongoing roster-based staffing solutions

  • Candidate vetting and onboarding

  • Payroll processing (for temp crew) unless otherwise agreed

The scope of our services may evolve as the business grows. We reserve the right to update offerings at any time.

4. Booking & Payment Terms (Clients)

  • Bookings can be made through our online forms or directly via email.

  • Clients are invoiced upon confirmation or completion of the booking.

  • Payment terms are strictly 7 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Late payments may incur fees and affect future bookings.

  • Our crew are not to be contacted for direct or ongoing employment without agreement — see “Poaching Policy.”

5. Poaching & Direct Hire Policy

We work hard to vet, train, and support our crew. Clients wishing to hire a crew member directly (outside of Crew Haus) may do so only by paying a placement fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By engaging our services, you agree not to bypass Crew Haus to hire our crew without this process.

6. Crew Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

Crew must:

  • Show up on time, in appropriate attire, and ready to work

  • Act in alignment with Crew Haus and client expectations

  • Communicate any delays or issues promptly

  • Respect the workplace, team, and brand of the client

Crew who fail to meet these expectations may be removed from our roster.

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

Clients:

  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before a shift may be charged at 50–100% of the shift fee depending on circumstances.

Crew:

  • No-shows may result in removal from future shifts and our priority roster. Emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Liability

While we carefully vet and brief all staff, Crew Haus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the performance of staff, except where required by law.

Clients must maintain appropriate workplace insurances and supervise staff during assignments.

9. Privacy

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

, and you can request updates or deletion of your information at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. Any major updates will be shared via our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of these changes.
